Laura Jo Hess lived a lifetime in Brooklyn, NY and recently moved to California. She earned her MFA in poetry from The New School. Her work has been published in Barrow Street Journal, H.O.W. Journal, The American Review of Poetry, and decomP Magazine, among others. During the day, she is the Managing Director at Ghost Note, an agency based out of DC. She is trying to live her best life.
